Sharing knowledge, shaping change
The climate crisis is the greatest challenge of our time—and it affects us all. Effective climate protection begins with knowledge. That is why Protect the Planet is committed to climate education that informs, raises awareness, and empowers. Only when more people understand the causes and consequences of dangerous climate change, as well as their own options for action, can real social transformation succeed—something we so desperately need.
Why climate education?
In our series of events on climate issues, we address current developments, focus on often neglected perspectives—e.g., those of people from particularly affected regions of the Global South (MAPA countries)—and create spaces for exchange. Our events are open to everyone, regardless of their background. In this way, we connect knowledge, perspectives, and people.
In addition, as a co-founder and active member of the sponsoring organization, we support the Campaigning School, a training program that empowers people to actively advocate for climate and justice issues. There, experienced speakers impart practical know-how on political campaigning, communication, and organization. We are convinced that everyone can make a difference—with the right tools.
Our contribution to a more equitable future
With our educational projects, we want to spark social debate, give new voices a platform, and strengthen civic engagement. Because climate education is an investment in the future—for a livable tomorrow on a healthy planet.

Climate event series
There is still too little known about the climate crisis and what we can do to avert it. Durch unsere Veranstaltungen informieren wir zu allen Themen rund um das Klima und haben dabei auch ein Auge darauf, was wir selbst ganz konkret tun können.

The Climate Election Check
The Climate Election Check is an online tool for comparing political parties on climate and nature conservation issues. The basis for the comparison is the election programs of the largest parties, for example for the federal and European elections.

Campaigning School
Whether it’s climate protection, social justice, equality, or democracy: good ideas need attention—and assertiveness. They need people who raise their voices, tell stories, build networks, and mobilize people. In short: we need strong campaigns. That’s exactly why the Campaigning School exists—and that’s exactly why we at Protect the Planet support this unique training program.
Our vision:
to stop the
climate crisis
We help prevent the climate catastrophe and make our planet just and liveable.
