Our topics:
Our resolute projects are designed to help avert a complete climate catastrophe and make our planet a liveable world. We have identified the key levers we can use to make our vision a reality. Here you can find out about the five areas in which we are active and the successes we have achieved so far.

climate NETWORK
“The whole is more than the sum of its parts” is a philosophy we subscribe to. That is why Protect the Planet is part of strong alliances at local, national, and international levels. Whether with activists, NGOs, companies, or politicians, we rely on networking for the cause. Because we can only curb dangerous climate change by working together with many others. We need everyone on board!

climate LITIGATION
Climate protection is a human right! Protect the Planet relies on the legal system as one of the most decisive levers for combating the climate crisis. Through strategic litigation, we use the law as a democratic means to hold governments and companies accountable.

climate EDUCATION
Knowledge is the first step toward change: That’s why Protect the Planet is committed to climate education that informs, raises awareness, and empowers. We create spaces for exchange, promote new perspectives, and show how everyone can be part of the solution.

climate RENEWABLE
Wind energy is key to a climate-friendly future—but its expansion is lagging behind. With the WindRat alliance, Protect the Planet is bringing a breath of fresh air to the energy transition. Together with strong partners, we are driving forward the expansion of wind energy, focusing on exchange, knowledge, and cooperation for greater acceptance and real change.

climate LOCAL
Climate protection is often decided “from above” – but it is implemented locally. Protect the Planet is driving climate change forward in local communities, is committed to a climate-neutral city of Munich, and focuses on projects that show on a small scale what is possible on a large scale. Whether it’s the energy transition in Bavaria or climate-friendly seawater desalination on Fuerteventura – we are driving climate change forward locally.
Our vision:
to stop the
climate crisis
We help prevent the climate catastrophe and make our planet just and liveable.
